All Captains are subject to federal background checks and must possess a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identity Credential) issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
All fishing trips and excursions include a pre-trip safety inspection, pre-trip safety orientation for all passengers, as well as the required USCG Emergency checklist.
Captains are required to comply with all USCG license requirements which include current and certified instruction in first aid training and CPR training.
All vessels carry the required first aid equipment necessary to address injuries and potential treatments reasonably expected for the voyage or excursion contracted.
The Banishment III is equipped with ACR/Artex Survival Kit. This kit is portable and is also carried on captain assignments.

The Banishment II is equipped with a fixed Simrad RS20 VHF radio with an 8' antenna, suitable for all ship to shore, ship to ship, and ship to station VHF radio transmissions, including immediate distresss call capability., and DNS-MMSI registration with the USCG.
Backup communications include the fully submersible Standard Horizon HX890 with GPS handheld VHF radio, which includes full DNS capability, pinpoint GPS tracking, and distress calling capabilities.
THE MOB+ Wireless Man Over Board System is installed on the Banishment III, and automatically shuts down the vessel if the Captain and /or crew were to fall overboard. This extra safety device assures the highest level of safety for Captain and passengers in the unlikely event of an MOB situation.
The Banishment III is covered by BOAT US under the Unlinited Gold Membership (With Towing) that provides on the water towing, fuel delivery, jump starts, and assistance with soft groundings in the unlikely event of an emergency.
These services apply to freshwater lakes as well as inland, near shore, and offshore waters out to 100 nautical miles.

Assuring a safe, compliant journey for all passengers and crew is the first priority at White Cap Logistics. All passengers are required to obey all local, state and federal laws pertaining to any trip, excursion or voyage.
All personal flotation devices (PFD's) are Type I USCG compliant and include a personal locatiing light stroe and emergency whistle afiixed to each passenger life saving device.
